Call for Contributions
We would like to announce the New Zealand Chapter of the Association of Computer Machinery (ACM) – Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interaction (SIGCHI) CHINZ2022 Workshop & AGM.
CHINZ2022 will be an in-person workshop and AGM on Friday, November 25th 2022, in Wellington.
We are planning opportunities for you and your students to present lightning talks about ongoing work or recent findings, birds of a feather sessions to discuss shared interests and new ideas, and our formal AGM. There will be opportunities for online presentations also for those who cannot attend in person.
Please note, 2022 is an election year, and a call for nominations and AGM agenda will be circulated in October.
We are currently proposing a day beginning at approximately 9am and ending at about 4pm on Friday, November 25th. Specific timings will be announced during the first week of November.
We expect registration and attendance at CHINZ2022 to be FREE for in-person and online participants. See registration: https://tinyurl.com/chinz2022-registration
Please use the linked RSVP both to indicate your attendance and to register to give a lightning talk for CHINZ2022. RSVP’s would be appreciated as soon as possible. We will stop accepting lightning talk registrations on 28 October to allow scheduling and confirmation with speakers.
Please share this call with your network of colleagues and students with an interest in HCI, Usability, UX, UI, Design, AR/VR/XR, Games, and how people interact with computing technologies.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, 25 November!
