Maximiliane Windl is a Ph.D. student at the Human-Centered Ubiquitous Media group at LMU Munich, supervised by Albrecht Schmidt. Her research focuses on effectively communicating privacy information. In 2020, she finished her Master’s degree in Media Informatics at the University of Regensburg, Germany, with a thesis about “Implementation and Assessment of Contextual Privacy Policies.” Before that, in 2018, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Media Informatics (major) and Information Science (minor), also at the University of Regensburg. During this time, she also worked as a mobile software developer in the industry.
