Collaboration is a skill often used by teams to develop software applications and services. Industry seeks graduates with the skills necessary to perform collaborative software development. To help students prepare and practice skills for professional careers, educators can use collaborative learning, a learning approach that has students working together to better understand concepts through the use of leadership and communication skills. This workshop discusses collaborative learning activities and interventions that educators can apply to make the learning experience inclusive and equitable for all members of the student teams.
